Best Bonfire Display
During the month of September local shops and businesses joined in the bonfire spirit, helping create a festive atmosphere in the village by using their creative talents to decorate their premises in a bonfire theme. The best display, as voted by the public, won our coveted trophy.
This year Sew Inspired won the trophy, with the Middle House Deli and Post Office our two finalists and C L Leppard, Mayfield Podiatry and Scarlett’s Frocks & Threads all highly commended.
