Build-a-Guy Effigy Competition
ENTER MAYFIELD BONFIRE SOCIETY'S BUILD-A-GUY EFFIGY COMPETITION FOR THE CHANCE TO SEE YOUR GUY ON THE TOP OF THE MAYFIELD BONFIRE 2026!
- The winning Guy or Effigy will have the honour of being placed atop the Mayfield Bonfire, in pride of place, to be burnt on the Saturday evening celebrations, on the 19th September, at approximately 9.30pm.
- All other Guys and Effigies will be placed around the foot of the Bonfire and also burnt along with the winning entry.
- The winning Guy or Effigy will be chosen by our very own Mayfield Bonfire Society Devil himself!
- The winning entry shall receive a certificate, cup and a prize and be announced on our website and social media.
- There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize, plus runners up.
