Can you spare an hour to help make torches? We have made 1,000 and still need around 4,000 more. Come along to the Scout Hut Saturday 10-1. It’s easy assembly work, but rather dusty, so wear old clothes and bring gloves, plus pliers if you have some. See you there.

There is no torch making at the Scout Hut on 31st July, do come along on Saturday 7th August to help us assemble 5,000 torches.

We will be serving a ploughmans supper, with vegetarian and vegan options, and operating a cash bar serving wine, beers and soft drinks. As well as the raffle, there will be limited edition t-shirts and Bonfire Biscuits available. Doors open at 6:30pm and the quiz will begin around 7pm, finishing by 10pm.

The Quiz will go ahead on 20th July with additional Covid safety measures in place, in line with the latest government advice. Numbers are limited so that tables will be spaced apart. Food will be served at the table. Attendees will be asked to sign in and sanitise their hands on entry, masks are optional.

Following the latest Covid announcements, we have rearranged our Quiz to Tuesday 20th July and all tickets will automatically be transferred to the new date. Do contact us if you can’t make the new date and would prefer a refund.
