We do hope you can join us for our annual get together and another fascinating talk about the colourful history of bonfires and martyrs. We are delighted to have as guest speaker Tim Cornish, our local historian and author of the book “Medieval Mayfield: Archbishops and Peasants” . The meeting is open to all villagers and anyone interested in finding out more about the bonfire society and what goes on behind the scenes of Mayfield’s biggest and most spectacular event.
